April 2023: Shiv Nadar University selects the High Speed Aurox Clarity HS Laser Free Confocal on a Nikon Ti2E Microscope. The Aurox Laser Free Confocal provides high resolution and high speed imaging ( upto 100 fps), based on a proprietary optical design – combination of Spinning Disk and Structured illumination microscopy , the laser free confocal works fantastic for multi-channel fast imaging of biological samples. Shiv Nadar University is the first private university in India to show confidence in pioneering imaging technology from Aurox Ltd., UK.

Feb 2023: Central Imaging Facility @ Dept. of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Bombay selects Visitech instant SIM Microscope(VT-iSIM) . The VT-iSIM Whilst maintaining the necessary temporal resolution and at a low photobleaching level, offers a spatial resolution of 100nm and axial resolution of 300nm. VT-iSIM generates super-resolution images in real-time and in a low phototoxicity environment, enabling live-cell imaging capability. The VT-iSIM is caapable of observing dynamic events by producing super-resolution images up to 200 fps at a pixel resolution of 1500×1024. Here the VT-iSIM is mounted on the bottom port of Nikon Ti2E microscope , the VT-iSIM has two Photometrics BSI Express camera’s for simultaneous two color imaging at high speeds.

With a long history of innovation for manufacturing support, we provide proven, production-worthy solutions matched to your needs. Denton Vaccum products will provide cutting edge deposition systems for Indian researchers working on semi-conductor device manufacturing and Cornell Scientific’s association with Denton comes at the right time when Government of India is pushing global semicon companies to make semiconductors in India, added our Technology Director Mr. Sudhir Sharma.

Dec 2022: Dr. Rajesh Patkar @ Dept. of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Bombay selects the Aurox Laser Free Confocal on Nikon Ti2E Microscope. The Aurox Laser Free Confocal provides high resolution and high speed imaging ( upto 100 fps), based on a proprietary optical design – combination of Spinning Disk and Structured illumination microscopy , the laser free confocal works fantastic for multi-channel fast imaging of biological samples.

Oct 2022: Central Imaging Facility @ Dept. of Biosciences IISER Pune selects the Aurox Laser Free Confocal upgrade on Olympus IX83 microscope. The lab already had an existing sCMOS camera on their microscope and Cornell Scientific installed the Aurox Clarity Laser Free Confocal Optics on an empty left hand camera port. The Aurox Laser Free Confocal provides high resolution and high speed imaging ( upto 100 fps), based on a proprietary optical design – combination of Spinning Disk and Structured illumination microscopy , the laser free confocal works fantastic for multi-channel fast imaging of biological samples.

Nov 2021: We are pleased to share the news of completion of installation and applications training on Microscale Thermophoresis (MST) system at Shiv Nadar University(SNU). This is a special moment for us as SNU is the first private university in India to select Microscale Thermophoresis for their binding affinity studies. Special thanks to Saji( NanoTemper Applications) and Sarika(Cornell) for sharing their tips and expertise with SNU researchers.

Feb 2020: We are pleased to share the news of completion of installation and applications training on the new Monolith system at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology( ICGEB-India Centre). ICGEB has selected Monolith for stuyding binding affinity of variety of samples(i.e. small molecules, protein-protein, protein-nucleic acid and drug interaction studies.....). Once again special thanks to Saji( NanoTemper Applications) and Sarika(Cornell) for sharing their tips and expertise with amazing researchers @ICGEB India. For more information on NanoTemper Technologies, please write to us at info@cornellsci.com

June 2020: Glad to share a publication from CSIR-IGIB, India titled “ Poly(N ‐isopropylacrylamide)‐Based Polymers as Additive for Rapid Generation of Spheroid via Hanging Drop Method https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/mabi.202000180 The researchers used Luxeno MuVi Light Sheet Microscope to visualize the compact 3D structure of the spheroids. Spheroid generated in the presence of polymer P3 (100 ng μL−1) by initially seeding 10 000 cells was used for the study. Agarose (low gelling temperature) was used to embed the samples in the capillary tubes for visualization. Live and dead staining was done for the spheroids according to above reported protocol and the spheroids were visualized by using Light Sheet Microscope.

March 2020: The first Re-Scan Confocal(RCM) in India from Confocal.nl www.confocal.in was installed and successfully handed over this week at the prestigious National Centre for Biological Centre (TIFR-NCBS) Bangalore. The RCM is installed on a Nikon Inverted Ti2E Microscope with Prof. Vardharajan Sudaramurthy's Lab. The research scholars are excited to see great imrovement in their imaging experience with ease of controlling RCM through NIS elements and high resolution images from their samples. If you are also interested to upgrade your inverted/upright microscope to Re-Scan Confocal with higher senstivity and super-resolution imaging capability ,visit www.confocal.nl or write to us at info@cornellsci.com

Aug 2019: Cornell Scientific Instruments Pvt. Ltd. is proud to announce the installation of Monolith NT.115 and Monolith NT. Label Free systems at Institute of Microbial Technology (CSIR-IMTECH) www.imtech.res.in Chandigarh. This is the first installation for a label free Microscale Thermophoresis system in India along with Monolith NT.115. The training for sample preparation and measurement was imparted to researchers by NanoTemper’s Application Scientist Saji Menon. Both the unique instruments based on Microscale Thermophoresis allows anyone in the lab to measure binding affinity in minutes. Each system is simple to use, has a small footprint and is completely maintenance free.

July 2019: Cornell Scientific Instruments Pvt. Ltd.,(www.cornellsci.com) INDIA , a company engaged in promotion of only unique and innovative next generation microscopy techniques in India is proud to announce the installation of first commercial light sheet microscope in India at CSIR-IGIB (Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology) New Delhi.
The MuVi light sheet microscope facility was inaugurated by Dr. Anurag Agrawal Director CSIR-IGIB and Dr. Debojyoti Chakroborti. CSIR-IGIB New Delhi INDIA has selected MuVi SPIM from Luxendo ( an EMBL spin-off and now part of Bruker Corporation) which is a horizontal setup designed to image large volumes very fast. The unique 4-axis concept with its two-sided illumination allows four combinations of illumination and detection.
This provides four orthogonal views of the specimen without the need for sample rotation, avoiding shadowing effects and facilitating long-term imaging. Combined with the sample mounting from below, this allows maximized acquisition speed and high precision of data fusion while preserving stability and integrity of the sample. The MuVi SPIM capacities can be further extended to enable imaging of optically cleared samples and performing photomanipulation experiments (e.g. ablation, bleaching). For this purpose, the MuVi SPIM CS (Cleared Sample) and the MuVi SPIM PM (Photomanipulation) have been conceived.
Typical applications of the microscope include in toto imaging of animal models such as Zebrafish embryos, Drosophila larvae, marine biology samples, plant and root development, large cleared tissue samples. Adding the photomanipulation unit provides further flexibility, enabling optical interaction with the samples.
